Shabbat Shalom! שבת שלום

Please note: this blog is not updated on Friday nights or Saturdays.

(My oven-repair guy came late this afternoon to breathe new life into our broken oven.
We plan to enjoy the bakery-made challot and other treats that were brought to us by a friend this afternoon.

Thank you! I'm flattered you noticed. It HAS been very busy.

{begin list of excuses}
In the past 11 days, I've run two school-wide barbecues, including the end-of-year bash, helped in a major way with another organization's end of year event, run two daughter's birthday parties on two consecutive Sundays (each for over 20 guests) and helped run the Senior Recognition night (including writing and delivering a speech at it and preparing the senior gift, etc.), not to mention the regular craziness that lead up to the last day of school, and the transfer and hand-over of the PTA 'mantle'.

I'm now digging out of a paperwork backlog, trying to figure out where...well, everything...is.

Every time I open a browser window to make a blog post I scream "NO!, not until the calendar is synced!" or "NO!, not until I get through at least another six inches of paperwork backlog!"

I'm looking forward to posting regularly again as soon as I dig myself a path through the paperwork backlog. (I think I'm almost there...)

Thank you so much for asking! Sometimes posting to the blog feels like sending messages in a bottle. I wondered whether anyone noticed. You made my day, anonymous!
