- Israeli and Jewish recipe index at World Hearth Circle of International Cooking Superfoods is not a Jewish site, but is is still quite interesting, with some recipes, all kosher - dairy with some of the foods typically used for the simanim used in interesting ways.

- Mother in Israel presented this beautiful Summer Watermelon Fruit Soup, with many pictures.

Dessert
- Baklava Loaf at Baking Bites (not a kosher site, but this baklava-style quick bread seems very suitable for Rosh Hashanah, and easier than messing with phyllo dough.)

- I have begun filling my freezer in anticipation of the marathon holiday season with Carrot cakes that I hope to pass off as honey cakes by using honey frosting on them. (We also cheat like this with spice cakes.)
