My 15 minutes of fame...

My car console was featured on one of my all-time favorite blogs: lifehacker!!!

This is very exciting for me! I can't be certain, but I think it merited a new category called "duct tape creations" at lifehacker!

The car console's aesthetics are taking quite a beating in the comments, though. I guess the rest of the world doesn't appreciate the beauty of duct tape, the way our family does. (Some of the critics are very funny. Go check them out: here.)

    Those comments were HYSTERICAL (mostly). You responded beautifully. I have to say, I do think the knife block would be a good addition :)

    I've definitely learned to check the background in my pictures! That knife block was like Zelig in the picture: unnoticed by the photographer, but worthy of its own story.
